I'm Letting Go Because, Something’s blooming here at Bungalow House Studio

If you’ve followed along with our story here at Bungalow House Studio, you know that I pour my heart into each piece I create. Whether it’s a card, a print, or a simple handwritten moment, everything comes from a deep place of meaning. Today, I want to invite you into a shift. A refined direction that allows me to serve you with even more intention.

Over the past few years, Bungalow House has been a space for whimsy and variety—from my beloved Sit & Stay dog portraits to safari animals and even quirky creatures. However, after a lot of prayer, planning, and preparation - I’m letting go of that chapter… so I can say a bigger YES to something else.

A Floral Focus With Purpose

Intentional floral art is where this studio was always meant to thrive.

When I first picked up my brush over a decade ago, I wasn’t drawn to animals. It was the 1000 details to capture within each petal of a blooming flower. Flowers aren’t just pretty, they are stories that speak volumes without having to say a word.

So now, I’m choosing to focus completely on floral art. What does that mean for you?

  • More timeless watercolor florals you can hang, gift, or send.

  • Greeting cards that double as mini art prints .

  • Coordinating everyday items—like mugs and travel cups—that bring beauty into the ordinary.

  • And a slow, intentional pace of releasing seasonal fine art collections.

The Heart Behind the Change

I’m a mom. A wife. A working artist. Every decision I make flows from a desire to be faithful where I’m planted. And lately, that’s meant letting go of good things in order to embrace the best ones.

Here are 3 ways this shift allows me to serve you better:

1. Deepen the Craft

2. Build Collections That Connect

3. Serve You Better

1. Deepen the Craft

I want to grow as an artist, and that means digging deeper roots in one place. With intentional floral art, I can refine my skills, elevate the work, and offer pieces that feel heirloom-worthy.

2. Build Collections That Connect

Rather than hopping from idea to idea, I’ll be developing full collections that tell a story. Think seasonal series, limited-edition prints, and meaningful bundles that help you celebrate, encourage, and reflect beauty into your world.

3. Serve You Better

Truly, you are the reason this studio exists. You motivate me to show up for you with more consistency, clarity, and quality . Whether you're looking for a meaningful gift, a comforting card, or a print for your favorite space—my goal is to make the choice effortless and the experience delightful.

Saying Goodbye to the Animals 🐾

On June 30th , the Sit & Stay Collection and all animal art was removed from the shop.

These pieces hold so many memories, and I know they mean something to you, too but for now, they're headed back to the archive.

What’s Coming Next 🌿

You didn’t think I’d just stop there, did you?

This summer, I’ll be building anticipation for my first-ever fine art floral collection launch—set to debut in August . The piece will even be featured to be viewed in person in a public location, and you’ll get exclusive first access. Trust me when I say: it’s the most intentional work I’ve ever created.

Leading up to that, I’ll continue sharing new floral greeting cards, everyday beauty products like travel cups and mugs featuring my florals, and personal stories that bring meaning to your inbox.

Every product. Every post. Every brushstroke… on purpose.

Tuesday Encouragement 🌼

Every week, I’ll be including a “Tuesday Encouragement” in your email to help you reconnect with yourself and maybe write someone a note too.

This week’s prompt:
"What do I need to let go of in order to grow into the season I’m in?"

Write this at the top of your next card. Reflect on it. Send it to a friend who’s navigating change. Use your words as a gift.

Will You Stay On This Journey With Me?

Thank you for being part of this community of women who value beauty, depth, and intentional living. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re just arriving—there’s a place for you here.

I’m walking forward with open hands, ready to build something that serves you better. I hope it inspires you to do the same in your world, too.

Let’s grow something beautiful together.
