5 Ways To Use The Marigold Pattern

You've heard the story behind the making of this pattern in our blog, "The Art of Redemption: August's Marigold Print Unveiled". Now, my goal is to bring you some helpful design tips so you can use it in your everyday life!

When a piece of art carries meaning, it deserves to be styled with care. "The Marigold” wasn't just August’s featured 1 of 100 art print, it was painted as a reminder of something truly deep and meaningful. Now, I've created 4 different patterns for you to proudly display in your space. Here are five ways to display it beautifully:

Tip #1 - Create a Mini Gallery Wall

Pair The Marigold with our vintage-inspired botanical prints, scripture art, or framed handwritten notes. The warm yellows pop against soft neutrals or rich, moody tones. You can even add a brass sconce or a dried floral bundle to complete the look.

Hang in symmetry by grabbing (4) 5x7 frames and hang our Marigold Art Print Series No.1-4. Space them with about 2-3" of space in between within a grid pattern (see the photo above).

If you've been looking to add a little dash of color and pattern to your grey space while sticking to a budget, then the fun bold patterns of the Marigold Print Series are the perfect way to add that personality! Bring in the perfect notes of warm hues to your wall by collecting all 4 Marigold prints on your wall.

Find some plain oak 5x7 frames for a little character, or if you're looking for a clean finish bring in some simple white frames to let boldness of the pattern shine while matching the background.

Tip #2 - Share It!

Use the pattern to encourage someone else! I’ve created a card set for you to share encouraging words with others in style. Want to know a fun tip? Our A2 sized cards can easily be framed in a 4x6 frame.

Tip #3 - Style a specific space!

FOR THE KITCHEN OR DINING ROOM

The marigold prints will bring a fun botanical look to any kitchen or dining room. With the style of these prints, they even can add a vintage feel. Select the color of print that will vibe best with your color palate and put it in a vintage frame. I can’t help but think how pretty Print No. 1 or Print No. 2 may look in a kitchen with the fresh greens paired in a deep brown vintage frame.

FOR THE BATHROOM OR LAUNDRY

Want a fresh splash of color in your bathroom? I could see print No. 3 or Print No 4. Add a bold splash of orange color in the bathroom. Pair these prints with a white or oak frame to really make them look clean and fresh.

Tip #4 - Add Pattern in Your Home

Are you like me and love adding a splash of bold pattern throughout your home? Along with your Marigold Prints, bring in these fun summer patterns to your dining room with these Sicilian Grove Table Runner and Napkins

Imagine having a little print nearby of Marigold Print No. 3. It would be such a lovely scene.

Tip #5 - Bring Life To Your Office Space

Did you know, having plants in your office makes you seem more friendly and approachable? It’s true. It's a study I found quite interesting when working on commercial design projects.

Artwork can have a positive effect on your psychological wellbeing along with the calming effect plants bring. When you pair art and plants together, you have magic! So bring these fun patterns to your office through our print series. Whether you commute or video call, watch them become fun conversation starters!

Summary

Adding a fresh piece of decor to your home shouldn't be complicated. I hope these 5 simple tips help you add a touch of your personality to the home you love! Oh, and a Bonus Tip: If you collect each monthly print, keep them in a rotating frame so you can refresh your walls with the seasons.
